FLAMENCO PERCUSSION
  
Percussion is like a heartbeat, underlining the compás or fundamental rhythms of flamenco. Award-winning percussionist Ian MacMillan (Squid, Compañía Azul and Maria Osende Flamenco Company) demonstrates the complexities of flamenco rhythms, weaving his drumbeats into the guitar music of Daniel MacNeil (Maria Osende Flamenco Company and Con Brio) and accompanied by flamenco dancer Colleen Power (Maria Osende Flamenco Company and Viva Flamenco).
